Game 1 of the NBA Finals left us with more than enough talking points. With LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers impressively placing themselves in a position to astonishingly draw first blood in the series, things took a turn for the worse. The Golden State Warriors eventually picked themselves up and took the overtime victory in what is easily one of the best Game 1 showdowns in Finals history.
The fans had a lot to say after the game and so did a number of NBA players. At the end of the day, we are all basketball fans and have our own opinions about how events transpired on that fateful evening.
Orlando Magic guard-forward Terrence Ross was more than impressed with the Cavs' Game 1 performance.
Iām not saying that cavs are gonna win. But i bet yāall didnāt expect them to come out balling the way they did.

Former Cavalier Dwyane Wade was just happy to be a spectator of such an exhilarating ball game.
Iāll take each game just like this one. Wire to wire.

Other players gave their two cents worth on the controversial overturned call involving James and Kevin Durant.
I thought the only way you can change a charge call was if someone was in or out of the charge circle

And of course, the likes of Joel Embiid, Dirk Nowitzki, and DeMarre Carroll couldn't help but take notice of J.R. Smith's temporary departure from planet earth.

One thing we can all agree on is that we were all lucky to witness greatness in the form of LeBron James and his epic Game 1 performance. The King is indeed something else and Detroit Pistons big man definitely concurs.
Wow!!!!!! And 1 and a stop on the other end! @KingJames šš¼ you are different
