Jason Kidd has seen the memes of his viral retro warm-up with HUGE collars, and the Dallas Mavericks head coach is taking it in stride.

In fact, it seems the new Mavs tactician is having fun with it as well, joking with the media that he might seriously consider joining a bowling team after several people trolled him for looking like one.

“I’m thinking in my spare time to start a bowling team. So whoever would like to wear that, we’ll get those in different colors,” Kidd amusingly said before the Mavs play the Los Angeles Clippers in preseason on Friday, per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.

Several fans poked fun at Jason Kidd for the photo, making it go viral in just a matter of minutes. Aside from the bowling jokes, Twitter users just expressed their disbelief for his attire. There is also a thread dedicated to “growing” the collar of the Mavs coach by 25 percent for every 25 likes. Obviously, it was an instant hit as the post has already over 110,000 likes at the time of writing–with Kidd's collar reaching the outer space.

It certainly looks like the memes about Kidd's collars and bowling attire won't die any time soon. Fortunately for fans, the Mavs boss is cool with it and is embracing the fun.
