Much like the rest of the Dallas Mavericks fanbase, Luka Doncic is in awe of Spencer Dinwiddie after his performance on Sunday against the Golden State Warriors.

Well, who wouldn't be? Dinwiddie was crucial as the Mavs erased a 21-point deficit against the Warriors to pull off a 107-101 come-from-behind win. He scored 10 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter, allowing Dallas to pull away with a 33-13 scoreline in the said period.

Naturally after the game, Doncic was full of praises for his new teammate, who arrived in the Big D from the Washington Wizards in the Kristaps Porzingis trade. In fact, Doncic was at a loss for words to describe the veteran guard before settling with a rather perfect description: “baller.”

“He's a baller. That's how I'm going to describe him,” Doncic said of Dinwiddie, per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.

While there were a lot of questions surrounding Spencer Dinwiddie and Davis Bertans after they were sent to the Mavs, they are slowly proving that Mark Cuban and co. made the right move. The two struggled in Washington, leading to many fans believing that they are washed and that Dallas made a mistake giving a star (when healthy) in Kristaps Porzingis for them.

Of course it is still too early to say if the Mavs' decision will pay off, but by the looks of it, Luka Doncic is happy. Not to mention that the victory against the Warriors is a signature win for a Mavs team hoping to go deeper in the playoffs this campaign.
