The Mavs will rest stars Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks.
The Mavs played on Friday, so they are just resting Doncic and Porzingis on the second night of a back to back.
Via ESPN:
Luka Doncic was listed as out with right ankle soreness for the visit to the Hawks on Saturday night. Fellow European star Kristaps Porzingis also is sitting to rest his surgically repaired left knee. It's the third straight back-to-back Porzingis has missed.
The Mavs are 34-22 on the season. They are in seventh place in the Western Conference standings.
Doncic has appeared in 45 games for the Mavs this season. He's averaging 29.0 points, 9.6 rebounds and 8.6 assists while shooting 46.6 percent from the field, 32.7 percent from beyond the arc and 76.5 percent from the free-throw line.
Porzingis, meanwhile, is putting up 18.6 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists in his first season with the Mavs. The 24-year-old is shooting 41.8 percent from the floor, 35.3 percent from the 3-point line and 78.0 percent from the charity stripe.

The Mavs are 2-0 on the season without Doncic and Porzingis, including a 123-100 home win over Atlanta on Feb. 1. The other win was at home against the Charlotte Hornets.
