The Detroit Pistons notched a huge 112-107 win on Sunday against Eastern Conference powerhouse Toronto Raptors.

Following the overtime victory, Pistons star big man Andre Drummond appeared to be in a jovial mood during his postgame interview. In fact, the 25-year-old was even able to joke about the contest being a memorable “road win” for his side:

“Good road win, good road win,” he kidded. “I've never seen that many Toronto fans come up in the building before.”

There was a surprising amount of Raptors fans in attendance at Detroit's Little Caesar's Arena on Sunday, which did make it feel at times that the game was being held in Canada. Nonetheless, the home team was able to pull through and earn a hard-fought victory against the second-best team in the league right now.

For his part, Drummond had another wonderful outing, putting up a 15-point, 17-rebound double-double against a formidable Raptors frontcourt. The 6-foot-11 big man also logged an assist, two steals, and a block in 28 minutes of action, as he helped guide his side to the statement win.

That's now five wins in their last six contests for the Pistons as they look to put some distance between themselves and the rest of the playoffs hopefuls in the Eastern Conference. Detroit is currently 31-31 and is slowly tightening its grip on the sixth spot in the East.

However, the Pistons are just 2.5 games ahead of the ninth-seeded Charlotte Hornets. At this point, there's still a lot to play for in the bottom half of the East's playoff picture.
