After missing the last three games because of knee soreness, Detroit Pistons All-Star power forward Blake Griffin will return to action on Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Friday is a huge game for the Pistons, who are in the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference standings.

Blake Griffin has been a monster all season for the Pistons. Detroit head coach Dwane Casey has to be counting his blessings that Griffin is back in the lineup on Friday.
Article Continues BelowIn 72 games this season, Griffin is averaging 24.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game while shooting 46.3 percent from the field, 35.8 percent from beyond the arc, and 74.9 percent from the free-throw line.
The Pistons are 38-34 when Griffin is in the lineup. The high-flyer has 21 double-doubles and two triple-doubles on the season.
Detroit is 39-39 on the year. They are just a half-game ahead of the Brooklyn Nets, who are 39-40. After Friday, the Pistons have three games left in the regular season. They will face the Charlotte Hornets, Memphis Grizzlies, and New York Knicks.
The Pistons haven't made the playoffs since 2016. Griffin and center Andre Drummond are trying to end that streak this season. Getting Griffin back in the lineup on Friday against a dangerous Thunder team is the best news Detroit could have asked for.
