The Detroit Pistons could have Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond back in the lineup on Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors.
Drummond has missed the previous two games due to avocado-induced eye inflammation, while Griffin didn’t play in the second half of Detroit’s road win over the Houston Rockets this past Saturday and sat out Monday's loss to the Washington Wizards because of left knee soreness:
#Pistons Dwane Casey seemed encouraged that both Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin might be able to play tomorrow vs. #Raptors.

The Pistons, after losing to the Wizards, are 11-16 on the season. They are in the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference standings.

Griffin has been a shell of himself this season. He’s averaging just 16.4 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting 36.7 percent from the field and 27.4 percent from beyond the arc. Griffin has no lift or speed at the moment. The Pistons All-Star had left knee surgery after the 2019 playoffs ended and he’s still feeling the aftereffects of his procedure.
Drummond, meanwhile, has been a double-double machine this season for the Pistons. He's putting up 17.7 points and 16.6 rebounds in 25 games and shooting 54.6 percent from the floor.
Griffin was excellent last season. He appeared in 75 games for the Pistons and put up 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists. Detroit made the playoffs for the first time since 2016. They got swept by the Milwaukee Bucks because Griffin only played in Games 3 and 4 due to his knee injury.
