The Detroit Pistons beat the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday in overtime behind 34 points from All-Star power forward Blake Griffin. What was supposed to be a chill ending, though, turned heated for Griffin.

Near the end of overtime with the win basically locked up for the Pistons, Blake Griffin started yelling at a Timberwolves fan after the fan said something to him he clearly didn't appreciate. The fan was ejected after the security in Minnesota saw what was transpiring.

Who knows what the fan said, but it had to be something really bad for Blake Griffin to react like that. Fans are always taunting players at games, so for Griffin to get this upset, whatever the fan said had to be faulty.

This was a big win for the Pistons, who outscored the Timberwolves 40-26 in the fourth quarter. Blake Griffin, who told reporters on media day he worked on his 3-point shot all summer, shot 5-of-10 from beyond the arc in this one. The high-flyer also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out four assists. The Pistons are now 15-14 on the season and 5-17 on the road.

Griffin finished the game a +15. He had the highest +/- rating out of anyone in the game. Blake is leaving Minnesota on a high note, but he finished the game in a tense mood because of the fan.
