Klay Thompson is cold as ice. Yet there was more frosty content in his icy veins after the Golden State Warriors escaped with a 114-111 win in Game 2, when asked if he had a front row seat to the interactions between his backcourt teammate Stephen Curry and his brother Seth.
Carlos Ramirez of Telemundo asked Thompson how it felt to have that “front row seat” to the two brothers' antics throughout the game, but Thompson stopped him shy of calling him a mere spectator.
“I wouldn't say I had a front row seat, I kinda was like out there… playing,” Thompson deadpanned to the laughter of present media. “Seth was incredible tonight, he almost won the game for them.”

Thompson's immediate reaction was comedy gold, capitalizing on some poor choice of words by the reporter.
However he's right to say he was more than a spectator in this game. The Splash Brother scored 13 of his 24 points in the third quarter, which staged a comeback from down 15 to tie affairs by the end of the period.
His contributions were vital to a team that fought to come back and seal a win at home, putting the Blazers at a 2-0 deficit ahead of the road swing of this series.
Seth and Steph went back and forth with their shot-making, but the former nabbed four steals (including picking Steph's pocket from behind in the third quarter) and led the Blazers bench in scoring.
Seth also buried a clutch 3-pointer late in regulation, before resorting to taunting his brother at the free-throw line, as he extended his record to 78 straight free throws made in the fourth quarter and overtime of playoff games.
