Golden State Warriors former Finals MVP winner Andre Iguodala got banged up again on Sunday night, as he was forced to exit in the second quarter of Game 2 following a hard screen from Toronto Raptors big man Marc Gasol. Iguodala was slow to get up, and while it initially looked like he was done for the evening, the 35-year-old veteran immediately came back to start the second half.

Following his team's impressive 109-104 victory, Iguodala shared how his collision with Gasol actually gave him a bit of an edge as the game progressed:

“I got my head knocked off,” Iguodala said of the crushing Gasol screen, via Ethan Strauss of The Athletic. “It kind of woke me up a little bit. Got a little edge after that.”

Kudos to Iguodala here for once again proving to the world just how tough he is. The injury looked more serious than it turned out to be, and based on how long the veteran stayed on the floor following the collision, it was not hard to think he was done for at least the game.

Instead, Iguodala returned and wound up hitting the dagger 3-pointer in the final seconds.

Notably, Iguodala also tweaked his left calf late in the fourth quarter of Game 1, and at this point, he is definitely not functioning at a hundred percent. Nonetheless, Iggy is a Warrior in every sense of the word, and he showcased the same once again here.
