Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson and big man Kevon Looney will receive MRIs on Monday, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic. Looney will also get a CT scan.
Thompson injured his left hamstring in the fourth quarter of the Warriors' Game 2 NBA Finals win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night. He suffered the injury after attempting a 3-pointer and did not return.
Meanwhile, Looney did not play in the second half of the victory as a result of a chest contusion he sustained in the first quarter.
Thompson expects to play in Game 3 on Wednesday night:
“Klay said he'll be fine, but Klay could be half-dead and he'd say he's fine,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said, per Scooby Axson of Sports Illustrated. “We'll see. He pulled his hamstring. He thinks it's minor, so I don't know what that means going forward. Sorry. That's all I got.”

Thompson finished with 25 points, five rebounds and five assists in 32 minutes while going 10-of-17 from the floor and draining four 3-pointers. Looney went scoreless in 10 minutes.
The Warriors rallied from a double-digit deficit in the first half to even up these Finals at one game apiece, beginning the third quarter on an 18-0 run and then holding on for a tight 109-104 win down the stretch.
Stephen Curry added 23 points, while Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins both contributed double-doubles, with Green totaling 17 points, 10 boards and nine assists and Cousins posting 11 points, 10 boards and six assists.
Kawhi Leonard led the Raptors with 34 points and 14 rebounds.
