Golden State Warriors All-Star power forward Draymond Green says the minor back-and-forth he had with rapper and Toronto Raptors ambassador Drake on Thursday is “no big deal.”
After the Raptors defeated the Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Green and Drake got close to each other and the rapper called Green “trash.”
The Warriors' versatile swingman says Drake has worked hard to earn his position and that the NBA doesn't need to step in.
draymond green says drake has “worked his ass off to be who he is” and “we all know, when you do that, you get more leash than others.” says the nba doesn’t have to step in, it’s not a big deal. this concludes yet another tweet about drake pic.twitter.com/mE2bPHe6h5

This is what makes the NBA fun. Drake is a superfan of the Raptors and is going to trash talk other players when he can. Green is a big boy and can handle the heat. You can expect Drake and the Warriors to get into it again in Game 2 on Sunday.
Green and the Warriors have bigger things to handle right now. Golden State is down 0-1 in the Finals for the first time since their five-year Finals run began back in 2014. Kevin Durant has already been ruled out for Game 2. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green all played well in Game 1. However, the rest of the Warriors struggled.
It's going to be interesting to see how the Dubs bounce back in Game 2. This is a team that always responds to adversity very well. Let's see if Drake will try and get in the head of Green and Co. again.
