Golden State Warriors All-Star Stephen Curry and Milwaukee Bucks All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo have been playing at an unbelievable level so far this season, and they were just rewarded for their efforts.
The NBA announces that Milwaukee #Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo (24.8 PPG, 13.0 RPG, 5.3 APG) and Golden State #Warriors guard Stephen Curry (36 PPG, 30 3PM, 54.7% FG) have been named Players of the Week. Both led their teams to 4-0 weeks.

Stephen Curry has averaged 33.9 points, 5.6 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and a steal in seven games this season. Curry is averaging an unreal 6.6 3-point shots made while shooting 51.7 percent from beyond the arc (46-89). The two-time MVP is managing to set himself apart from a star-studded Warriors roster.
The sharpshooting Warriors star appears to be on track for yet another record this season.
Steph Curry is on pace to hit 538 three pointers this season.
The most any other player in NBA history not named Steph Curry has ever made? 276.

This really is not human at all considering where Stephen Curry makes these shots from. Over the years, we've seen him pull up for a shot after barely crossing the half-court line. The sad thing is his teammates and his fans are not even phased by his greatness anymore. The guy makes everything he does look so incredibly easy.
Antetokounmpo is averaging 25.0 points, 14.2 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, and 5.7 assists in six games this season. His stats have grown exponentially since joining the league in 2013. He averaged 6.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in his rookie year. Giannis already has five double-doubles this season, which is not a huge surprise after he had 42 last season.
These two stars will surely earn Player of the Week honors again at some point this season, and maybe even in the same week.
The Warriors (6-1)and Bucks (6-0) lead their respective conferences. While Stephen Curry and the Warriors' success is no surprise, the Celtics were the presumed team in the East to have the success the Bucks are having.
