Kevin Durant doesn't seem to be in any rush to make his decision.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Durant is taking a “distant approach” and has not given any of his top potential suitors any signals thus far. The Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers are considered the four most likely possible landing spots for Durant in free agency this summer.

Durant and his business partner, Rich Kleiman, are currently in New York.

The 30-year-old superstar is recovering from surgery to repair a torn Achilles, an injury he suffered in Game 5 of the NBA Finals earlier this month.

Durant originally suffered a calf strain during Game 5 of the Warriors' second-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets and proceeded to miss nine straight contests — including the entire Western Conference Finals where Golden State swept the Portland Trail Blazers.

After the Warriors fell behind 3-1 to the Toronto Raptors in the Finals, Durant decided to try and give it a go in Game 5. He got off to a great start, scoring 11 points in the first quarter; however, in the second period, Durant went to put a move on Serge Ibaka and crumpled to the floor grabbing his right Achilles.

Durant initially signed with the Warriors during the summer of 2016 and proceeded to lead the Dubs to back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018, taking home Finals MVP honors both times.

However, the general consensus all season long has been that Durant will be playing his basketball elsewhere next year.
