While all eyes are on the much-anticipated debut of DeMarcus Cousins, Klay Thompson could notch another accomplishment as the Golden State Warriors take on the L.A. Clippers Friday night.

Undoubtedly one of the best shooters in NBA history, Thompson struggled to shoot the ball in the early goings of the season. However, he's slowly regaining his shooting touch as of late. Entering the match against the Clippers, he's shooting 36 percent from deep, way down from his career average of 41 percent, but that doesn't seem to be affecting his confidence.

While teammate Stephen Curry is already placed third in the all-time list, Klay has made his own mark as a 3-point specialist.

The Warriors have regained the top spot in the Western Conference, the dustup between some of their players has been settled, Cousins has his debut, and now, they're starting to rack up achievements as they continue their quest for their third straight title.

The Warriors have won six straight, and facing the Clippers, who are in a four-game losing streak, will show a glimpse of who they can be when they are at full strength.

Golden State is peaking at the right time, and while most of the Western Conference is still struggling to find their identity, the Warriors are looking like they're ready to make a deep run in the playoffs, and that could pose as a major problem for the rest of the league.
