Yes, Stephen Curry is now the all-time scoring leader in Golden State Warriors history. However, Wilt Chamberlain still has the edge over him, as the basketball legend set the mark way faster than Curry.
Per Michael Lee of the Washington Post, Chamberlain achieved the previous record of 17,783 points in just 429 games. Meanwhile, Curry had to play 745 games to break his record.
Curry's achievement with the Warriors is one heck of a milestone no matter how you look at it, but Chamberlain was really something else.

Note that the NBA did not have a three-point line until June 1979. Chamberlain was part of the Warriors from 1959 to 1965. And even when the 3-point line was introduced, Chamberlain never really included the shot in his arsenal. So it's quite a mark how Chamberlain racked up his points through just field goals and free throws.
These realities are not meant to disparage Curry at all. Stephen Curry fans know that the two-time MVP's impact is more than just the points he scores night in and night out. It's about how he amassed those points.
It has been repeated time and time again that Curry is the greatest shooter alive. His greatness isn't just measured in numbers, but on how he changed the game with his lethal 3-point shooting for the Warriors. It's difficult to swallow how in the '80s and up to the mid-2000s, the 3-pointer was considered a bad shot. But all it took was this little baby-faced assassin to change things in a blink of an eye. Now, the 3-point shot is the most feared weapon in all of basketball.
