Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins will remain under a 24-minute restriction as he makes his way back from a torn Achilles tendon.

Cousins will play in his fourth game of the season on Saturday against the Boston Celtics. Boogie played 15:03 in his season debut against the L.A. Clippers, 21:18 in his second game versus the Los Angeles Lakers, and 24:21 against the Washington Wizards.

DeMarcus Cousins is averaging 13.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in the three games he has played this season. The four-time All-Star is shooting 46.9 percent from the field, 57.1 percent from beyond the arc, and 71.4 percent from the free-throw line.

The Warriors are 3-0 with Cousins in the lineup and have scored at least 112 points in each game. The minutes restriction on Cousins is something we will see for a while. Golden State doesn't want to overwork Boogie to the point where he could possibly suffer a setback.

Plus, the Warriors were already the best team in the NBA before DeMarcus Cousins came back, so they can afford to play it safe and slow with their talented big man.

Golden State enters Saturday with a record of 34-14, first place in the Western Conference standings. It doesn't look like there is a team in the NBA who can stop the Warriors from winning their third straight championship, especially now that Cousins is back in the fold.
