Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green doesn't think there is a better trash-talker than him in the NBA today, but he admits there are guys who talk more. One example? Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young.

During his AMA session with Bleacher Report, Green was asked if there are trash-talkers in the league who are better than him right now. Of course, the ever-so-confident Warriors forward said no before acknowledging there are only bigger talkers than him like Young. He then went on to praise the Hawks sharpshooter, noting how he has grown to appreciate the work he has put in.

“Is there anyone that talks more than me? Yes, but better absolutely not,” Green shared. “Trae Young talks more than me. It’s incredible what he’s doing. I did not enjoy watching Trae Young play basketball the last two years, but I enjoy watching Trae Young play basketball this year. Just to watch his growth, has been amazing. If you don’t take your hat off to him, you’re just a hater.”

Draymond Green's remarks certainly seems really relevant now, especially after NBA fans watched Trae Young become a villain for the New York Knicks in the playoffs. Aside from his shushing antics in Game 1 versus the Knicks, his “take a bow” celebration in their closeout of the Big Apple franchise is pretty savage.

Young definitely knows how to talk trash and fire back on the disrespect, and the Warriors forward just confirms that even more.

It would definitely be interesting to see Green and Young fight and talk trash to each other. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait for that until the 2021-22 season when the Warriors and Hawks meet again in the regular season. For now, Trae and Atlanta will hope to continue their sensational playoff run as they head to the second round.
