The storyline of this NBA offseason so far is Kevin Durant asking the Brooklyn Nets for a trade. There have been many teams linked to a possible move, but their asking price remains steep, which means a deal has yet to be completed. Yikes. Draymond Green was not pleased with a reporter putting down his former teammate and close friend to this day. There have been rumblings that the Warriors could potentially look into a Kevin Durant blockbuster, but it feels unlikely because they'd have to part ways with their young core, most notably Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins. Considering the Dubs just won a title with this current group, it's hard to imagine them actually pursuing KD.

Draymond Green is often vocal on Twitter about the “new media” which he's put on blast many times before. In this instance, he does have a point. It doesn't exactly make KD emotional because he wants out of Brooklyn, it's just a business decision like Draymond said recently. Players have a lot more leverage now as to where they want to play and Durant is taking advantage of this situation. But, it remains to be seen if any team will give the Nets what they want. If the Indiana Pacers pull off a sign-and-trade for Deandre Ayton, it'll be very tough for the Phoenix Suns to pull off a trade and that's KD's top destination right now.
