Draymond Green didn't shy away from saying that he wants to be a Hall of Famer when his career is over. However, the outspoken forward of the Golden State Warriors also acknowledged that it's easier said than done.
When asked about Detroit Pistons legend Ben Wallace being named a Hall of Fame finalist, the Michigan native also talked about his legacy and his desire to be enshrined in the future. The Warriors star emphasized that he knows he has a lot more to do before being worthy of the Hall.

“I don't live every day like ‘man, I wonder if they looking at me today, I wonder if they feeling it today' I just kinda go about my day. But definitely hope to do that one day.”
While Green is a three-time champion, three-time All-Star and one-time Defensive Player of the Year, it's true that he still have a lot of things to accomplish. After all, while he is a great defensive player, his offense leaves much to be desired–something that has been largely scrutinized this 2020-21 campaign when the Warriors need someone to step up as a second option on offense in the absence of Klay Thompson.
Of course that's not to say Green doesn't deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. He is an influential part of the Warriors' championship runs, and one could say they wouldn't be able to dominate the 2015s without the 31-year-old.
However, while his accolades speak for themselves, Green understands that to be in the Hall of Fame, he has also to shut down his naysayers with his basketball play.
