SAN FRANCISCO — The Golden State Warriors have struggled immensely while ending the 2021-22 NBA season, but one thing that has been a positive all season long is the play of Jordan Poole.

The 22-year-old guard is averaging career highs in points, rebounds, and assists this season. Outside of Stephen Curry, he has been the Warriors' most consistent offensive threat. After the game against the Phoenix Suns, Draymond Green shared how pleased he was with his young talented teammate.

“I thought he has been incredible, not just tonight but overall,” Green told ClutchPoints.

Poole has been essential to the Warriors’ success all season. When Klay Thompson was out and rehabbing, Poole stepped in and played the role of the deadly sharpshooter. Now that Curry is out, he's doing his best impersonation of the two-time MVP.

Everything Steve Kerr and Poole’s Warriors teammates have asked of him, he's doing and exceeding expectations. He's one of the most trusted and respected players on the team, and opponents are showing him respect as well.

The days of seeing single coverage on a nightly basis are over, especially while Curry is out.
