The Golden State Warriors got mollywhopped at home by the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, 126-91. Or, according to Warriors forward Draymond Green, they got “punched.” Per Anthony Slater of The Athletic, this is what Green had to say of Saturday's blowout defeat:

While no actual punches were thrown, 40-year-old Dirk Nowitzki dropping a season-high 21 points on a night where Stephen Curry, Shaun Livingston and Andrew Bogut all rested, certainly felt like a haymaker.
Article Continues BelowGolden State has made it well known that they are not concerned with jousting for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference with the Denver Nuggets, who are in the midst of a six-game winning streak and currently hold onto the top spot by half a game following Saturday's defeat.
It wasn't the first time that the Warriors have been drubbed at home in March, previously falling 128-95 to the Boston Celtics back on March 5. Sandwiched around convincing wins over both the aforementioned Nuggets and playoff-bound Indiana Pacers at home, the team has also racked up losses to the Phoenix Suns and now the Mavericks, who own the two worst records in the Western Conference.
With the Warriors resting players and having won three of the last four NBA Championships, it appears they are nonplussed concerning their performance in March. There remains just 10 games on their regular-season slate before the postseason begins, with the team looking to make their fifth consecutive NBA Finals appearance. Should that occur, no one will remember getting “punched” by Dallas at home in March.
