Ever wondered what NBA players do after a hard fought game? We can assume that most of them go right to sleep. But Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors revealed he stays up until the early morning to watch more basketball.
As reported by Drew Shiller of Warriors Outsiders, Green revealed that he stay up until five or six in the morning watching SportsCenter:
“I don't sleep after games. I be up til like 5-6 in the morning. Just adrenaline still going. SportsCenter. I watch SportsCenter.”
Draymond Green: "I don't sleep after games. I be up til like 5-6 in the morning. Just adrenaline still going." So what does he do all night? "SportsCenter. I watch SportsCenter." Don't be fooled: This means that Draymond sees and hears everything that's said about the Warriors…

Now that we know what Green does after the game, we wonder what is going through his mind as he watches the highlights? Since Green is one of the elite defenders in the league, he's probably breaking down in his mind how to guard the opposing team's best player.
Last month, he actually gave a breakdown on how to defend LeBron James, among other top players. On James, Green said that he has to mix it up a lot since the King does a lot of different things on the court. He doesn't just score and power his way to the ring. As per Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report:
“With LeBron, obviously it's different because he does so much. It's about mixing it up. You can't always pick LeBron up and pressure him, but you can't always sit back. You've got to do both.
“So with him, as a defender, one possession you're playing him one way, the next possession you're playing him a completely different way, and you just try to keep him off-balance as much as you can. Give him a steady diet of one thing, he'll pick that s–t apart. He's one of the smartest players to ever play the game.”
