Draymond Green was just minding his own business. The Golden State Warriors star was simply watching Game 1 of the Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks series, when a fan tried to drag him once again.

Green sent out a tweet in reaction to Kevin Durant's silky smooth triple to end the third quarter of Game 1. The Warriors veteran was in awe of just how unstoppable KD is.

But a fan responded to Green's innocent message as a spectator, blaming him for Kevin Durant's departure from the Golden State Warriors back in 2019.

As we've come to expect from Draymond Green, he didn't take the slander sitting down. The Warriors icon fired back at the fan, claiming people should stop worrying about it because Green lives his life while Kevin Durant lives his separately.

Green and Durant infamously got into a highly-publicized spat during a game in KD's final year with the Warriors. A year later, Draymond detailed his side of that story and what they argued about, via All the Smoke podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson:

“He comes to the bench and he slaps the bench like, ‘Yo! Pass me the f–king ball.' I'm like, ‘Get the f–k outta here. F–king run then.' And he's like, ‘You heard what the f–k I said' and slaps the chair: ‘Pass me the f–king ball.' I'm like, ‘Yo, you better calm the f–k down. I don't know who the f–k you think you're talking to.'”

“And then he started cussing back and I'm cussing back. And then DeMarcus pulled me out of the huddle like, ‘Yo, calm down. I feel where you're coming from but relax. It's too much.'”

Draymond Green and Kevin Durant have long repaired their relationship since then. KD's time with the Golden State Warriors formed arguably the greatest team of all time. It's hard not to look back at that time and see the positives over the minor flare ups.
