Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green is always a fun guy to follow when he's at the microphone conducting an interview, and that trend continued on Wednesday during the first day of Finals media day when the All-Star power forward was asked a question about Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard's nickname.
As we all know, Leonard's nickname is the “Klaw” because of his enourmous hands. So, a reporter wanted to know what Green's nickname was and the Warriors' versatile forward responded in typical Green fashion:
Reporter – “If Kawhi Leonard’s nickname is the Klaw, what are you?
Draymond – “I’m Draymond.”#Warriors #Raptors

The Warriors have gone 5-0 since superstar Kevin Durant went down with a right calf strain in Game 5 of the second round against the Houston Rockets. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have carried the load on offnese with Durant out, but it's been Green's all-around play on both ends of the floor which has been vital for the Warriors.
Over his last five games in the playoffs, Green is averaging 14.8 points, 11.4 rebounds, 8.4 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.4 blocks. For the Warriors to contain Leonard in the Finals, they'll probably put Green and Thompson on him throughout the game since both players are superb defenders.
Green doesn't need a cool nickname like Leonard. Everyone in the Bay Area knows him as the heart and soul of the Warriors.
