The Golden State Warriors have been in peak form throughout the NBA Playoffs. Right now, they have a 2-0 lead over the Dallas Mavericks and are close to returning to the Finals for the first time since 2019. With another title within their sights, Draymond Green sends a “scary” reminder to the rest of the league.
According to ESPN, Draymond Green believes he is showing the best playoff performance of his career this postseason. The Warriors' power forward is regarded as one of the league's best defensive players and aims to prove he is the best in league history. “I think that's very scary for people. And that's why I feel so confident … people had a hard time dealing with me before. [But] I'm in a space now that's a totally different, better space. Not even close. Much, much better than I was in before.”
Green has been on another level lately. This postseason alone, shooters have just a 37.3 percent hit rate when Draymond Green is guarding them. It's the lowest percentage the Warriors' star has allowed in the playoffs throughout his career. Golden State's star claims, “he has never been more ‘locked in' mentally and defensively,” in the postseason, per ESPN.

“I feel like right now, I am at the highest as far as my mental capacity that I've ever been. For sure,” Warriors' forward, Draymond Green.
If that's the case, then the remaining teams in the playoffs might be in trouble. The Mavs have struggled to score late in games in this series, as the Warriors and Green lock down their opponents down the stretch. We'll see how he plays on Sunday night, as Golden State aims to take a commanding 3-0 lead over Dallas.
