Gary Payton II has established himself as a key piece for the Golden State Warriors rotation. On Monday against the Indiana Pacers, the 29-year-old just proved why he is the real MVP.
GPII's heroics did not come on the court on Monday. Instead, the 6-foot-3 guard made his mark on the sidelines. Check out Payton's immediate reaction after spilling a fan's beer (h/t NBA TV on Twitter):

Not only did the Warriors stud apologize multiple times but he even went out of his way to make sure the fan's beer was replaced. We're just not sure who's going to pay for that replacement beer. Perhaps it's going to be deducted from Payton's salary?

The Warriors guard took to Twitter after the game to apologize again:
Party Foul! My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused lol đ¤đž https://t.co/EgRFZ6wgH2

What a guy this dude is. It feels like he's the type of buddy who everyone loves to be around.
Oh, and he's a pretty good basketball player, too. GPII logged just nine minutes of action in Monday's 102-100 victory over the Pacers, but there's no denying that he still made an impact on the ballgame. The defensive specialist logged one triple, a steal, and a block in his limited run. Off the court, Gary Payton II just won over a handful of fans after his beer-saving heroics.
