Turns out, the Andrew Bogut signing for the Golden State Warriors has been in the works for over two months.

The Warriors made the Bogut signing official on Wednesday. The former No. 1 overall pick played four seasons in Golden State and was part of the 2015 championship team.

The last time we saw Bogut in the NBA was last season when he played in 23 games with the Los Angeles Lakers. The center suffered a broken left leg less than 60 seconds into his debut with the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2016-17 campaign. Bogut has fully recovered from the injury and has been dominating in Australia.

Now, the 34-year-old returns to the Warriors in pursuit of his second ring. Bogut has career NBA averages of 9.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.6 blocks in 694 games with the Milwaukee Bucks, Warriors, Dallas Mavericks and Lakers. He will give the Dubs rim protection and depth at the big man position behind All-Star DeMarcus Cousins, who is still making his way back from the Achilles tear he suffered last season.
