The Golden State Warriors proved they were still had enough to outlast the rest of the league and win the NBA title this past season. The fact that they did it with their prized prospect in James Wiseman playing zero minutes this season makes next year even more exciting as they bid for a repeat.
It's clear that Wiseman is raring to be a part of the title defense. The Warriors center was vocal ahead of NBA summer league on how he was feeling amid his looming return:
“Man, it feels great. This whole year and a half, I learned a lot about myself as a person. I went through a lot of trials and tribulations but I'm here now. So we're practicing and today felt great. I felt good out there with the guys. Just everything about it like I'm speechless and I feel good just playing again.

Wiseman may be fully healthy with over a year to recover, but the Warriors are still reportedly “taking the cautious approach” when it comes to their young center:
James Wiseman went through a full practice today and said he/the knee feels great: “I really want to play every (summer league) game.” Warriors are taking the cautious approach, easing him back into contact before a targeted debut at some point in Vegas.

If James Wiseman can become the dynamic inside threat that the Golden State Warriors drafted him to be, they're quest for another title will be that much smoother next season.
