Golden State Warriors swingman Kelly Oubre Jr. has emerged to be one of the names involved in countless trade rumors heading to the trade deadline slated on March 25. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr sounded off on Oubre's situation and admitted that he is indeed generating a ton of buzz in the market.

Amid all the speculations, Kerr also claimed that Oubre has taken the talks in stride and has been a professional all throughout, per Anthony Slater.

Oubre continues to have an up-and-down season in his debut campaign with the Warriors as he is averaging 15.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists through 42 games played. Despite showing out with his athleticism on the floor, the Kansas product has yet to find his shooting stroke at this point in the season as he is merely shooting a dismal 30.6% from beyond the arc.

Though Kerr's answer didn't give any indication regarding Oubre's fate within the next couple of days, the Warriors would be better off trading him in exchange for assets. Oubre is currently playing in the final season of his two-year, $30 million contract signed with the Phoenix Suns back in 2019.

He is set to enter unrestricted free agency in the coming offseason and the Warriors would definitely want to get something in return instead of letting him walk away freely. Amid the rumors, Oubre remains to be part of the Dubs and he continues to play a vital role as their starting shooting guard as of late.

The coming days will determine whether or not Kelly Oubre will continue to find himself suiting up for the Warriors or for another team for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.
