It was earlier reported that Klay Thompson could finally make his highly-anticipated season debut on Sunday when the Golden State Warriors take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. This has been a long time coming and it sounds like the Dubs have finally penciled in a return date for their star shooting guard.

Thompson himself has decided to add more fire to the flame by making a rather cryptic statement after news about his potential comeback broke. In true Klay Thompson fashion, the five-time All-Star made his comments while navigating the San Francisco Bay on his boat:

“I’m almost there,” Thompson said, via Melissa Rohlin of FOX Sports.

Klay needed just three words to express his thoughts about this recent development. The Warriors guard knows that he's closing in on his much-awaited debut, and he decided to give Dubs fans a bit of a tease with his brief statement here.

The captain's hat looks awesome on Thompson and he definitely fits the part. What cannot be denied, however, is that Klay Thompson looks much better in full Warriors gear while on the basketball court. By the looks of things, it seems like we're all going to see this very, very soon.
