Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors just exploded for a season-high against the Chicago Bulls — and there's still an entire half to go.

Thompson exploded for 36 points at the end of the first half. He shot at an impressive 12-of-16- from the field and 10-of-14 from downtown.

The Warriors are up by a hefty margin against the Bulls, 92-50. Yep, that's 92 points in the one half alone. One can just imagine how many more points are the Warriors are going to score in the final 24 minutes of the game.

Thompson's explosion comes in after his Splash Brother Stephen Curry exploded for 51 points and 11 3-point bombs in just three quarters.

Could Thompson mirror Curry's performance? It's a matter of wait-and-see. From this point on, it seems that the decision will lay on head coach Steve Kerr's hands whether to play Thompson the for the entire duration of the second half.

After all, they're up by a big margin. This is the NBA and any team can come back from a huge deficit. But they are the defending back-to-back champs. It won't be a surprise he Kerr opts to rest Thompson for the rest of the game.
