The Golden State Warriors have endured its fair share of struggles as of late. However, it appears shooting guard Klay Thompson is not worried about any carryover into the playoffs.
The Warriors starting five has looked uncharacteristically vulnerable recently. According to KNBR, Thompson is confident they will get it figured in the postseason:
“I have not one bit of concern in my body … as the playoffs come closer I think everyone will see what we're made of.

There is good reason for Thompson to feel confident. After all, the NBA has already seen what they were made of after winning three championships in the last five years. So it is safe to say that they are still far from being underdogs because of their recent struggles.
The Warriors have long boasted a championship-caliber roster ever since the early days of their dynasty. The fact that they have since managed to add Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins has simply been overkill up to this point. Despite their recent skid, they still own the top seed in the Western Conference. They have a chance to extend their lead with a win over the two-seeded Denver Nuggets tonight.
Regardless, it is safe to say that the performance of their star-studded starting lineup has fallen vastly short of expectations. Golden State still has yet to find a way to effectively incorporate Cousins into the offense. Meanwhile, their defense has suffered because of it. Although the Warriors still remain the heavy favorites to defend their crown, they do not want to take any chances when it comes to navigating the Western Conference Playoffs.
