Klay Thompson is expected to re-sign with the Golden State Warriors this summer, per BetOnline.ag.
Thomson is set to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but the Warriors are favored to offer a new deal and re-sign him at -500.
If Kevin Durant leaves the Warriors like everyone thinks he is, Golden State will have more money to give Thompson, who is one of the best shooting guards in the NBA. Klay has said multiple times in the past and this season he wants to spend his entire career with the Warriors.
Thompson has career averages of 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists with the Dubs while shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 40.2 percent from beyond the arc during the regular season. He’s made the All-Star team five times and is one of the core players the Warriors have been building around the past five years.

Golden State is playing in its fifth straight NBA Finals this season. The Dubs are looking to capture their third straight title and fourth ring in five years. The Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers will try and steal Thompson away from the Warriors, but the odds aren't in their favor.
The Dubs want to keep Stephen Curry, Thompson and Draymond Green in the Bay Area for life.
