Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors is having yet another fantastic season. And with the FIBA World Cup on the horizon, chances are that the All-Star shooting guard will be ready to represent his country once again on the worldwide stage set to be held in China this August.

However on Tuesday, Thompson admitted that he hasn't fully committed yet to playing in the FIBA World Cup this very moment.

During his post-game interview after the Dubs beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, Klay adressed the possibility of heading to the Far East after the NBA season wraps up.

Fans were quick to point out how Thompson's decision to play in the FIBA World Cup hinges on the Warriors' performance in the NBA Finals.

We all heard that right: the three-time NBA champion already had the assumption that Golden State will make it to the Finals yet again this year.

While Klay's prophecy of another trip to the grandest stage of the NBA can be taken with a grain of salt, it's hard to argue against the current state of the 2018-19 Warriors. The Dubs are still the front-runners to win it all this season with a star-studded starting roster that just added another All-Star in DeMarcus Cousins during the offseason.

Although, Thompson might want to consider changing his mind on playing in China this summer from possible to inevitable. The Warriors have a huge following in a country that boasts the highest population on Earth.

One of Thompson's biggest sponsors, Anta, is also a distinguished Chinese brand that would do anything to have one of their top NBA endorsers put on a show on their home soil this summer.
