Despite the defending champion Golden State Warriors (54-21) continuing to deal with the injury bug and being losers of seven of their last 10 games, they should be getting back one more of their star players. Shooting guard Klay Thompson, who is recovering from a fractured right thumb, is now considered probable for tomorrow night's road game against the Sacramento Kings.
Thompson was spotted at Friday's practice with his right thumb wrapped in a bandage. When asked by Melissa Rohlin of the Mercury News about whether or not the tape around his thumb would affect his shot, the guard didn't consider it an issue.

As of right now, he isn't 100 percent sure if he will play against the Kings but still is keeping a high amount of optimism towards making his return after an eight-game absence from Warriors head coach Steve Kerr's starting lineup.
“Hopefully, I mean it's up to the training staff and coach Kerr,” Thompson said, via Rohlin. “But I feel great, I feel like I'm shooting great and I'm eager to get out there. I feel like I'm probable.”
With star forwards Kevin Durant and Draymond Green back in Golden State's lineup last night, the Warriors were still not able to get the job done against star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks and lost 116-107 at Oracle Arena for their seventh loss in 10 games.
If Thompson is able to return Saturday night against Sacramento, the Warriors will get a massive boost with guard play even with Thompson's fellow Splash Brother in Stephen Curry still recovering from a Grade 2 left MCL sprain.
