Golden State Warriors fans saw their season flash before their eyes in the team's last game against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night.
Point guard Stephen Curry attempted to come down with a rebounds and Spurs big man Pau Gasol landed awkwardly on the side of his leg. It looked like it could have really been bad for Curry.
In slow-motion it looked really bad. But Curry was able to return to the game and was good to go tonight against the Denver Nuggets too.
Curry spoke of the moment and his thoughts about the potential of the severity of it.

There's no doubt that this was an example of how lucky or unlucky an injury can occur at any given moment in the NBA.
Fortunately for the Warriors, it looks like Curry will be fine and just possibly sore in the days shortly after the injury.
Meanwhile, the Warriors are looking to get back to looking like their old selves. A rocky start to the season has felt like a hangover from their second championship in three years. Any injuries to the likes of Curry or any other star would only delay the defending champs hitting their full stride.
