Stephen Curry has achieved so much throughout what has been a decorated career for the Golden State Warriors superstar. Just recently, the greatest shooter of all time added another feather in his cap when he received his degree from Davidson College. It took him some time but it was a tremendous achievement nonetheless.
Warriors teammate Gary Payton II was asked about his reaction to Curry's most recent feat and it prompted quite a heartwarming message from the Dubs guard/forward:

Just a big relief off his shoulders I can imagine. I’m proud of 30 getting that done. It took a couple years after, but it doesn’t matter. As long as you get the paper, that’s all that matters. I’m proud and excited for 30,” said the Warriors stud (h/t Angelina Martin of NBC Sports).

Payton was hyped about his teammate's academic achievement as he pumped his fist in the air for a good seven seconds (I counted). As it turns out, Payton is also working his way to a college degree and he's clearly drawing inspiration from his Warriors teammate here. This just goes to show how much Curry is able to motivate his teammates with his actions both on and off the basketball court.
