Against the LA Clippers, Kevon Looney of the Golden State Warriors will be fielded for ‘around 20 minutes' according to head coach Steve Kerr.
Per Nick Friedell of ESPN, Looney will play four segments of five minutes against the stacked Clippers squad:
Kerr believes Looney will be right around 20 minutes tonight as he makes his return. Probably four segments of five minutes.

Looney missed the entire preseason due to a hamstring injury. Given that Kerr has considered him a foundational player for the Warriors, it's no surprise that he's going to be under minutes restriction until he becomes fully healthy.

Kerr noted that Looney's minutes would depend on the Director of sports medicine and performance Rick Celebrini. If Looney feels better, then the restriction may be lifted. Celebrini will give the green light.
The 2019-20 season will be Looney's fifth year with the Warriors. Over the summer, he inked a three-year, $14 million deal to stay with the team that drafted him. Some were surprised by his decision. After all, at this point in his career, Looney could definitely demand a larger contract either with the Warriors or with a different team.
But according to Looney, he wanted to stay with the Dubs because this is the place where he wants to be. For him, the Warriors organization is the best in the NBA.
