A Game 3 against the San Antonio Spurs has been a daunting task in itself for the Golden State Warriors in recent years, but now down 0-2 and with their season in danger of an 0-3 hole — it's almost certain they will come with guns blazing for tonight's matchup.

Head coach Steve Kerr is expecting the same out of a veteran team that has navigated a rough regular season without a star player in Kawhi Leonard.

“They're coming after us,” said Kerr, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic. “We know what they're about. They were 33-8, I think, at home. Won 10, 11 in a row in this building and their season is on the line.”

The Spurs boast an incredible advantage at the AT&T Center, and one that the Warriors would be foolish to underestimate as they build on their postseason success.

Corner a dog in a dead-end street and it will turn around and bite.

This is exactly the predicament in which the Spurs are mired in, forced to make the most of their home court advantage and even out the series, already at a scoring disadvantage.

The recent loss of Gregg Popovich's wife, Erin, will give this team yet another reason to fight and leave it all out there to make their coach proud.

In light of the event, the Spurs will be led by top-assistant Ettore Messina for Game 3, with no clarity as to when Popovich will return to his rightful spot.
