Much has been said about the offseason plans of the Golden State Warriors. So, we'll say more.

It became apparent this season that the Warriors need extra scoring. While Stephen Curry showed his MVP form with otherworldly bucket-getting binges, the team still couldn't get far. This offseason, finding more firepower might be one of the top priorities of Steve Kerr.

While several big names have been linked as possible acquisitions of the Warriors, including Damian Lillard, Kevin Love, and Zach Lavine among others, Kerr might be looking at a more organic route: The NBA Draft.

According to ESPN reporter Nick Friedell, the Warriors are eyeing LSU hotshot Cameron Thomas. They own the 7th and 14th overall picks so safe to say, they're in a very good position to get Thomas.

Scoring 23.0 points per game in college is nothing to scoff at. Even an elite scorer like Klay Thompson failed to do it in his three years at Washington State. So if anything, Thomas, who only played one year for LSU, knows how to get buckets at a young age.

The Warriors finished 12th in the NBA in scoring this season at 113.7. While it's not terrible, it's a far cry from their high-octane, shoot-from-anywhere, devil-may-care offense in previous years. Obviously, Curry is one of the best scorers in NBA history, and having another guy who can shoot and draw defenses could make things easier for him next season. The returning Thompson will be that guy, but having a third option in Thomas wouldn't hurt.

The Warriors are making moves, and the rest of the NBA should take notice.
