The Golden State Warriors had Game 1 in the bag. Unfortunately for them, they allowed the Boston Celtics to come back in the fourth period in what turned out to be a furious fourth-quarter run by the visiting team. Simply put, the Dubs don't know what hit them and they had no answer for Boston when it mattered the most.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has spoken out about Boston's mind-blowing run that saw them outscore the Warriors 40-16 in the final frame. Coach Kerr got brutally honest in his assessment:

“They just pounced,” Kerr said, via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN. “… my gut reaction to what I just witnessed, they came in and played a hell of a fourth quarter.”

He's right. It's hard to describe what the Celtics did in the fourth quarter, but what matters most right now is that they escaped with a victory to draw first blood in this series.

Game 2 is scheduled for Sunday night and it's virtually going to be a must-win game for the Warriors. They simply cannot head to Boston for Games 3 and 4 down 0-2 in the series. That might just be too big of a deficit to overcome even for this powerhouse Dubs side.
