The Golden State Warriors stormed back to tie the NBA Finals series with the Boston Celtics at a game apiece. The Dubs pulled off a double-digit victory in Game 2, doing it without one of their key depth pieces in Andre Iguodala, who has been battling a knee injury. The veteran forward was experiencing some soreness in the knee, which kept him sidelined for the Finals' second game. On Tuesday, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr provided a crucial update on Iguodala with Game 3 around the corner, per Tim Bontemps of ESPN.

Iguodala, who drew the questionable tag ahead of Game 2, will again carry that same designation for Wednesday's contest against the Celtics. The veteran forward was asked how he was feeling, and he responded by saying he was “alive.”

That's not the most encouraging response! In all seriousness, Iguodala is likely thankful for that, given the injuries he's had to battle lately. A neck ailment kept the Warriors forward out for 12 games before he returned for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

While the 38-year-old is a limited offensive player at this juncture in his career, he remains a key player on the defensive end, as evidenced by his 106 Defensive Rating per 100 possessions in the regular season.

The Warriors forward's presence matters. It remains to be seen if he'll be out there for Game 3.
