Draymond Green is yet to show out with a triple-double in this postseason, but he has been doing more than enough to prove his doubters wrong, thinking his days as a defensive powerhouse were long gone.
The reigning Defensive Player of the Year hasn't backed up his 2017-18 defensive numbers to that degree, but his mettle has proved intact in these first three games against the San Antonio Spurs, erasing any thought of a decline in his abilities.
“He's been fantastic,” said his coach Steve Kerr after a 110-97 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3. “Defensively he's all over the place. This is a team that you have to disrupt, they're excellent with their execution, so you have to try and take them out of things and Draymond is as good as anybody I've ever seen in terms of recognizing the play and blowing it up. He's been great.”

Green's line of 10 points, six rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and four blocks has been exactly the mixed bag that the Golden State Warriors have wanted out of him in this postseason.
The four blocks have been the highest amount of shots blocked in a game since before the All-Star break, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.
Green's impact is now magnified with one less All-Star on the court, given his playmaking ability and his responsibility to anchor the defense, often playing an oversized matchup against LaMarcus Aldridge who has been kept from erupting into a great performance so far in the series.
