Following the rousing success of yet another tactical adjustment by Golden State Warriors boss Steve Kerr, the man at the helm vowed to present the same “death lineup” once more for Tuesday's Game 5 against the New Orleans Pelicans, this time in front of the home fans.

“There's a good chance I'll start these same five guys on Tuesday (Game 5),” Kerr told reporters, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic. “Every series is so different, and we've gotta stay locked in and try and take care of business Tuesday — save a trip to the Central time zone, and get ready for the next series if we're lucky enough to do that.”

“We've gotta lock in, but I'll start these guys next game, too.”

The death lineup, otherwise known as “The Hampton's Five” had only played 18 minutes on the floor in Game 4, the most they ever have in any game before. During their stint together, they recorded a rating of plus-26, making all of the difference in a convincing 118-92 win.

Kerr's confidence in this lineup revolves around an innate ability to have multiple two-way players on the floor at the same time, giving neither the opposition's offense nor defense any breaks while they're on the floor, exhausting them while the Warriors thrived with their combined play.

Previously seen as an adjustment tactic, this lineup can surely make a dent in the postseason, adding yet another dimension and unleashing a potent product at both ends of the floor.
