Golden State Warriors big man DeMarcus Cousins came up big for the Dubs on Saturday against the Boston Celtics. Following his team's 115-111 win against the C's, Dubs head coach Steve Kerr talked about the 6-foot-11 center's performance.

Kerr was eager to talk up the contributions of Cousins for the Warriors and how much he brings to the table. However, Kerr did admit that the Celtics gave his All-Star big man quite a test on the defensive end.

Cousins put up 15 points (on 4-of-9 shooting and 6-of-7 from the line), a three-pointer, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, and a block in just 23 minutes of action. The 28-year-old also accumulated five fouls in his limited time on the court.

This was just Cousins' fourth game back following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to an infamous Achilles injury he suffered last season. He remains on a strict minutes limit, and tonight was no different. Nonetheless, Cousins made the most of his time on the floor, and made sure to make his minutes count.

With the Warriors erring on the side of caution, we should expect Cousins' minutes restriction to be in place for the foreseeable future. However, given how he has had no issues since his return to the court, it would not be surprising if the Warriors decide to increase his workload in the following days.

The Dubs are off on Sunday, and are scheduled to take the court again on Monday when they face the Indiana Pacers. We fully expect Cousins to suit up for that one, as the All-NBA big man slowly makes his way back to top form.
