Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr believes there's nobody in NBA history like Kevin Durant.
After KD's efficient shooting night against the Memphis Grizzlies which saw him bag 28 points on 12-of-13 shooting, Kerr admitted that he sees Durant as a unique player who has his way with anybody on the court.
“The game's easy for Kevin. It just is. I don't think there's ever been anybody as skilled at his size in the history of the league so he just does whatever he wants,” Kerr said, per Nick Friedell of ESPN.
While Durant hasn't dominated headlines as much as James Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo have this season, he continues his on-court excellence.
Before their showdown with the Grizzlies, the 2014 NBA MVP has been averaging 26.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.7 assists with the Warriors. He has never averaged less than 20.3 points in his 12- year NBA career.

One shouldn't take Steve Kerr's assessment of Durant lightly. After all. Kerr played in 15 NBA seasons from 1988 to 2003 with the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers.
Kerr played an integral role in the Bulls' three-peat from 1996 to 1998. He is famous for draining the critical foul-line jumper in the waning moments of Game 6 of the 1997 NBA Finals (off an assist from the great Michael Jordan). The basket clinched Chicago's second straight title and fifth in the last seven seasons.
Simply put, Kerr has seen it all in his roles as a player, television analyst and head coach. Saying Durant is in a league of his own is certainly a credible remark.
The good news for Warriors fans: the 30-year-old Durant is far from finished. In fact, he is just reaching the peak of his storied NBA career. The Dubs, who are currently sitting atop the Western Conference standings with a 51-23 win-loss mark, are determined to win their third straight NBA title.
Should they succeed, it will be their fourth crown in the last five seasons. Expect KD to play an integral role, as always.
