After making his return to the court last Friday, Golden State Warriors star DeMarcus Cousins already has his first technical foul in the team's uniform.

Early in the second quarter of the Warriors matchup against the Washington Wizards on Thursday night, Thomas Bryant and Cousins appeared to lock arms as the Wizards attempted to press a fast break down the court.

Boogie went to push Bryant off of him and the whistle was quick to follow.

This may mark the first technical foul Cousins has accrued while playing for the Warriors, but, amazingly, isn’t his first since joining the team.

In just the first month of the regular season, DeMarcus earned a technical foul from the bench that led to his ejection from a game. This is nothing new for Cousins, who led the league in technical fouls four times since his rookie season in 2010-11.

Even having missed time at different points in his career due to injury, he has never finished a single season with less than 10 technical fouls.

Cousins may be in good company, though, with teammates Kevin Durant and Draymond Green both ranking in the top 10 in the leaderboard for technical fouls for the second consecutive season.

With the extra edge he brings this team, the Golden State Warriors will likely be happy to overlook any extra technical fouls brought by way of Boogie’s presence.

Since his return from injury, the team has back to back double digit victories, bringing their current win streak to eight games.
