Article Continues BelowIt was a scary fall for Cousins, who has played only his fifth game this season after coming back from a torn Achilles that sidelined him for almost an entire year. No one wants to see him, or anyone suffer a serious injury.
The Pacers know how that feels, as they lost star Victor Oladipo to a season-ending knee injury. They were on a roll as the third team in the East before he went down. Now, their future seems to be looking vague.
Injuries are common in the league, but for someone like Cousins, it would be an unfortunate event if he suffers another serious injury at this stage. Cousins will not publicly admit it, but this is a redemption season for him.
