The Miami Heat are one player short after second-year forward Okaro White underwent surgery Thursday to repair the fifth metatarsal fracture in his left foot.

This has present the opportunity for the Heat to mix things up a bit on their roster as they hold the exclusive NBA rights to three players on their G-League affiliate, Sioux Falls Skyforce. Even with that being the situation, head coach Erik Spoelstra stated on Friday that the team will not make any roster moves, according to Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel.

“I feel we have enough,” he said ahead of Friday's game against the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena. “I'm not concerned about that at all. That's more than enough. I'm having a tough time trying to play 10.”

In the last few seasons, the Heat have employed the strategy of going deep into their bench to balance out the scoring and contributions across the board. Miami has enough depth to make up for his absence on the floor.

The Heat currently have five players averaging double-figure scoring while 10 players on the team have made an appearance in at least nine games this season. It is a formula that has helped them hover around the .500 mark early this season and most of last year.

Ultimately, the loss of White could lead to rookie Bam Adebayo getting more playing time over the next few weeks.
